Studio Design 22

My name is KC and i am a 22 year old Graphic Design student. Together with my 20 year old sister Jacky, who is a Business student, we recently set up a design Instagram account called Studio_design_22. We were born and raised in the Netherlands and moved to Sydney’s Northern Beaches in Australia about 10 years ago. 

Like most sisters, we can go from being best friends to mortal enemies in a matter of seconds. At a young age our family moved across the world, and with that it brought us new languages, new schools and a totally new environment. We stuck together, whether we liked it or not we were each others best friends. We both dreamed of traveling Europe when we were older, and in 2015 we worked hard and made that dream come true. 

For months we travelled together and came back totally involve with what we experienced. Often people would ask us individually how we could travel with a sibling because that would drive them insane, but for us it was a no brainer. We both have very different skills and traits, but together we make an awesome team. 

Since then we have been studying at the same college and work together at a wedding function.  We are very different in many ways, but together we are definitely an interesting mix, there is never a dull moment! In-between studying and working on our page you’ll find us down at the beach with our feet in the sand. Living in such a beautiful place definitely gives us inspiration for the photos that we take.

I initially wanted a platform to show my passion for design and asked the help of my sister to set it up and be my model.  As we got the page set up, we found that we both enjoyed photographing fashion and showing our different styles much more than we expected. Our page is fairly new and still small, but we are really enjoying creating a feed that like-minded fashionistas will follow.
